Great Dentist, always makes you feel comfortable and is very welcoming. I was recommended for an emergency root canal after my old dentist couldn’t see me right away. Dr Orfaly took me right away and I have been a patient ever since. I’ve had many dentists over the years, and this practice is by far the best. All the staff here are simply amazing.

I’ve been a patient of George since he started practice in Salem. I’ve found him to be professional and very easy to communicate with. He was willing to come in on a Sunday to deal with an emergency situation and is always ready to explain and discuss any question I have. I would highly recommend him for a long term relationship of dental care. His staff is also very competent and stable so it feels like seeing old friends when I go in for a visit.

Dr. Orfaly has been my dentist for over 10 years now and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! His staff of dental hygienists are thorough, personable, and professional and Dr Orfaly leads by example. I’m now taking my kids (4 & 5 years old) there and they love him! Testimonial of a patient who got Porcelain Crowns

My entire life I have always admired beautiful smiles and wanted that for myself. I was self-conscious of the appearance of my teeth and never liked to smile. When I was in my 50s, I decided to do something about it. I went to Dr. Orfaly for a consultation. He listened to me and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. Then, with the calming and confident manner he answered all my questions, my fears and reservations went away. After our first treatment appointment, I had the smile I always wanted.

Dr. Orfaly prepared my front teeth (top and bottom) for crowns and made gorgeous temporary crowns (I was so thrilled with the temporaries that I could have kept those forever). After just two weeks, I had the permanent porcelain crowns and all I could say was, “WOW!” That was 10 years ago and I still cannot stop smiling. To this day, I get compliments on my teeth. People cannot believe they are crowns…they look so natural.

Dr. Orfaly is certainly the very best dentist I have ever had. And having moved around the country so much, I have a lot of experience. I have a really sensitive “bite” and have had to get a number of crowns in my life due to grinding my teeth long ago and cracking them all the way down. The worst part about getting a crown for someone with that kind of “bite” is making sure the bite is correct. Dr. Orfaly recently did a new crown for me and I did not have to go back even once to get the bite adjusted. This is an AMAZING thing for me, and so very important, I cannot begin to convey how much this means to me. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Orfaly to you.

I have been coming here since 2008. Dr Orfaly is the best! At one point I had to have an old filling replaced and it was completely pain free. I have been seeing either Kathy or Amy since I started and they are both amazing. Cheryl is great at the front desk it’s always nice to see her. If you are looking for a dentist in the Salem area I would highly suggest you check them out. They’re a great team. They take the time to get to know you, it’s like visiting friends when you go to the dentist. I moved out Salem several years ago but I still head back to see Dr. Orfaly and his team!

I started coming here over 30 years ago to Dr. Fisher and also see Dr. Orfaly since he joined the practice. My kids are all patients too. I have switched dentist twice due to insurance changes but I came back because I like the office much better. The whole office knows my family, they are friendly and efficient. They do great work. One year when my daughter was playing softball her front tooth got hit and broke. Dr. Orfaly came back into the office that night to look at it and made a repair that is not noticeable. He calmed her down as she was upset and scared. You can count on them day or night and they can accommodate emergencies easily.

In 1981 I was a new RN at MGH Surgical ICU. New to Boston, I approached a colleague for a recommendation for a dentist. Dr. Fisher came highly regarded. I liked him immediately and have continued with him very happily, enjoying not only the expertise of his work but the comfort of his demeanor and office background music. Joy managed the office and when I was much younger, I remembered how she helped me to relax when I was worried about a bridge payment.

In 2005 Dr. Orfaly joined the growing practice and Dr. Fisher asked me if I would consider accepting him as my new dentist. Sure! I even got a great deal on whitening when he welcomed me into his practice. He checks in with me as he goes along with his work, waits for the local to take full effect and then proceeds with patience. I have always been absolutely satisfied with the outcomes he and his assistant Mirela provide.

Many folks are nervous about going to the dentist. My dental hygenist has been Kathy for most of my ongoing regular dental healthcare. We have a friendship now and how she can understand my conversation with my mouth open is beyond me, but we laugh and laugh and have even shared a few tears. Mayreni is a new hygenist. She has arrived just in time for the new office decor. She is highly professional as is everyone here and I found her work to also be excellent.

Cheryl is the secretary and she coordinates your schedule with your visits. I always get a timely reminder by phone. The overall atmosphere is professionally relaxed, calm and personable. After 37 years with this great dental practice, I continue to have the best smile around! Continued success to the Fisher and Orfaly Dental practice!

It was 1993 and I was in search of a new dentist. A coworker referred me to the office of Dr. John Fisher and Dr. George Orfaly in Salem, Mass. Best referral ever!!!! As I am still a patient today.

A smile is so very important to me, and Dr. Orfaly knows this. The time and patience he takes in explaining each procedure, and in answering each and every one of my questions, is exceptional. His knowledge and passion for what he does, coupled with sincere compassion and conscientious attention to detail, are unparalleled.
Dental emergencies? I have had many over the years! Whether big or small, Dr.Orfaly has gone to great lengths to accommodate me, even going so far on several occasions to call me at home to follow up and reassure me.
Kathy, the hygienist, has been cleaning my teeth for 24 years. The best! She is so thorough, and extremely informative and professional.

The entire office staff is very warm and gracious. They never forget my name, and are quick to fit me in at alternate times if there are any scheduling conflicts.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fisher and Dr. Orfaly and their team for over 30 years. Over this timeframe it has become clear to me that this dental team provides pinnacle care and advice to prevent and fix tooth decay. Recently, I had an immediate need for dental work and Dr. Orfaly was there to save the day. It was the Saturday just before July 4, 2017. I broke a tooth at roughly 11AM. I was shocked and immediately felt the anxiety that comes with realizing I may be dealing with the painful consequences until after the holiday. I called the office and I followed the instructions on the answering machine. Within 5 minutes I received a call from Dr. Orfaly. At 1:45PM we were at the office to stabilize my tooth.

Through small talk, prompted by me, while in the dental chair, I learned he had restructured his Saturday plans to take care of me. I could not thank him enough for his sacrifice. His humble response was “If you are ever in dental pain please call, this is what we are here for”.
